Rent-a-rower is an easy way for UVA faculty and staff, and for other Charlottesville-area residents as well, to find dependable manual labor at a reasonable price. Simply rent a rower (or two, or three, or more) to help with tasks that require an extra set of hands to complete. Our rowers are strong, and they will do the job right. Your rental fee helps Virginia Men’s Rowing pay a myriad of expenses.
And don’t forget, our athletes are smart. Manual labor is not the only task they’re qualified for. Need someone to help set up your new computer? Does your son or daughter need some help writing their college-application essays? Our rowers are earning degrees in engineering, computer science, English, the arts, etc. If you can name it, we probably have an athlete majoring in that field.
