Thank you for your interest in the 2023-2024 scholarships from the University of Virginia’s Asian and Asian Pacific American Alumni Network (AAPAAN). All applications are due by 11:59 PM on January 23, 2023.
This year, we are pleased to announce that we will be awarding four $5,000 scholarships:
- The Jack T. Chen Memorial and the Yee Family American Dream Scholarships are awarded based on academic merit, financial need, and contributions to the Asian/Asian Pacific American community at UVA or elsewhere.
- The AAPAAN Scholarship recognizes and supports the development of leadership and community service in Asian and Asian Pacific American students at the University of Virginia.
If chosen as a scholarship recipient, you will be required to attend the AAPAAN scholarship recipient reception in early April 2023. Winners must also agree to a brief interview to serve as marketing materials for future scholarships.
