In this year’s Princeton Review rankings, The Cavalier Daily came in at number two among college papers across the country, right behind the Columbia Daily Spectator.

Needless to say, the entire Cavalier Daily staff is extremely excited about the news. The paper moved up five spots from last year’s results, in which The Cavalier Daily was ranked number seven.

The Princeton Review’s ranking comes alongside major changes for The Cavalier Daily, including negotiating a new lease and office move, hiring a business manager, producing summer content with a paid summer staff, updating the design of the print paper and continuing our efforts to become a digital-first newsroom.

As our dedicated staff continues to change and improve our newspaper both in our published content and behind the scenes, we’re thrilled to see those efforts recognized. We hope to live up to the ranking for the rest of our term and long after it.
