2013 Kris Pierson Memorial Photography Scholarship
Awarded to a Cavalier Daily photographer participating in a photography-related internship or workshop.
Scholarship Amount: $1,000
$500 at the beginning of the internship and $500 at the end, upon receipt of a portfolio of the Summer’s work.
Deadline: March 25, 2013 at 11:59 pm
Notes: This scholarship is available to rising second-, third- and fourth-year students who have served on The Cavalier Daily staff for at least one semester and who will serve at least one semester after completion of the internship.
Internships MUST be in media-related fields. This is not limited to media organizations but to any position which includes media-related work.
The Scholarship Committee may use the materials submitted for consideration of other CDAA scholarships.
At the conclusion of the internship, a portfolio of your work must be submitted to the Scholarship Committee NO LATER THAN September 30, 2013.
