We are holding our second annual research meeting of the University of Virginia Economics Alumni Interest Group on September 22-23, 2017 on UVA grounds. All economists who have graduated from UVA (whether at the graduate or undergraduate level) are encouraged to attend the conference. In addition to our alumni, many current UVA faculty members will be attending the events and your family is also invited to join us. Our first annual conference, held this past year in September, 2016, was a tremendous success , and we hope you can join us for this year’s conference.

We also encourage our alumni to submit their papers. All economic research topics, both empirical and theoretical, are welcome, and there is no fee to submit a paper. All presentations will be in plenary sessions, and each paper will be assigned a discussion.
