Join us at the South Hill Tent on Saturday, April 27 during the 2019 Spring Running of The Foxfield Races.

All Eli’s and their guests must purchase a ticket through Eli Banana for access to South Hill and the Eli Banana tent. A general ticket purchased elsewhere will not give you access to South Hill. Tickets are first come, first served and are limited to active Eli Banana members, Eli Banana alumni and invited guests.

How much are the tickets? Student tickets are $60 each with a limit of two. Alumni tickets are $100 each with a limit of two.

What is included in my ticket? The student registration includes a ticket to the races, South Hill access, and lunch. The alumni registration includes a ticket to the races, South Hill access, lunch, a parking pass, and an open bar. Register today!

When will tickets be available? Student tickets will be available for pick up on from Peyton Thomasson beginning Monday, April 22 until Friday, April 26. If you have questions, please contact: Culver Stedman at cs8yz@virginia.edu

Alumni Tickets will be available for pick up Friday, April 26 from 9am – 5pm at Alumni Hall (211 Emmet St. S)

Where is Foxfield? Garth Road, Charlottesville, VA. Foxfield directions can be found here. The Eli Banana tent is located at the West Gate (via Owensville Rd. or Woodlands Rd.) at South Hill. 

What time is Foxfield? Gates open at 9am and close at 5pm. The Eli tent will be up from 12p – 3p. 

What should I wear? “You’ll see everything from “Sunday Best” to “Country Casual” for both men and woman. Women lean towards dresses, men are usually in shirt and tie often paired with khaki shorts. Hats are a favorite of many who attend the races! Remember to wear appropriate shoes or boots, you will be in a field”
