Upcoming Events
Annual Rotunda Dinner
We will kick off the celebrations Saturday, November 9, 2024, during our Annual Rotunda Dinner. The evening will begin with cocktails and mingling in the West Oval of the Rotunda at 6pm. At 6:50pm, the singers of the Virginia Glee Club will invite you, through song, to the Dome Room for a buffet dinner and to hear from this season’s special guest speaker, Professor N. Scott Barker ’94.
Professor Barker was a member of the Virginia Glee Club from 1990 to 1994, served as the chairman of the board for the Virginia Glee Club Alumni and Friends Association, and currently serves as a faculty advisor.
Rehearsal Weekend Performance and Alumni Picnic
Join the Virginia Glee Club and Virginia Glee Club Alumni and Friends Association in Springfield, Virginia on Sunday, October 6 for a Rehearsal Weekend Performance and Alumni Picnic. The morning will start off at 11 a.m. with a service at Kirkwood Presbyterian Church, with a guest performance by the Virginia Glee Club. Join us afterwards for a picnic at Lake Accotink Park, Picnic Area #4 from 1-3 p.m. Reconnect with friends and meet the current members of Club!
Save the Date: 84th Annual Christmas Concert
Usher in the holiday season with the Virginia Glee Club’s 84th Annual Christmas Concert on December 7, 2024 at 8 p.m. at the University Baptist Church. Directed by Grammy Award winning conductor, Frank Albinder, this evening of choral music will feature beloved holiday favorites and audience participation.
