This Just In: Live Performance by the One and Only Hall & Goats

hall & Goats Band Logo

We’ve landed a billing for the ages. One-hundred and sixty-five years in the making, Hall & Goats have reunited for their debut—and farewell—performance. These senile and decidedly infantile, washed-up, moribund, self-pitying, self-parodying erstwhile jam band giants lay down not only the tastiest jams, but also (and more importantly), their irrepressible egos.

Fronted by the bald eagle swan who still finds himself in duck’s clothing, “Wailin’ Waylon” Wellford Tabor (Upsilon ’87, Col ’90) sings like a fallen angel and strums your brain with his left hand.

On lead guitar and holding his own on some lead vocals is the GOAT, actually just the goat, Henry “Prince” Hamlin (Upsilon ’23, Col ’27), an incendiary, brooding, old-soul brat of very bad breeding.

Like a phoenix rising from the primordial party gravy stew of the 133 Chancellor Street basement, Frank “MF” Hamlin (Upsilon ’87, Col ’90) slaps da bass with a stanky funk.

Uninitiated and underappreciated are the two skilled musicians, Luke Kemmerer (Engr ’25) on keys and Nate “Animal” Newcomb—Dallas, TX—loosening the skins and your inhibitions.

Register now! Free your mind and your class will follow.
