Brothers,
To celebrate the amazing life that William (Billy) Hearns lived and the monumental impact he had on each of us, a Celebration of Life for Billy will take place in Charlottesville, VA on April 22, 2023, from 1-4pm at the old Lodge at Trails End (1536 Rugby Road Ext). A party will be held at the current Lodge (170 Madison Lane) later that evening.
- Main Event: The Celebration of Life will take place at the old Lodge from 1-4pm. There will be beer, wine, and an open bar, along with hors d’oeuvres. The old Lodge has been fully renovated into a private residence and the owner has agreed to open the house to allow everyone to walk through and see the significant changes.
- Parking and Transportation: Free parking will be at the Culbreth Parking Garage located at 130 Culbreth Road, Charlottesville, VA 22903. We will have two 12-person shuttles continuously running back and forth between the garage and the Lodge. The shuttles will run from 1-5pm, giving everyone plenty of time to return after the main event concludes. Please do not park at the old Lodge as the limited parking is needed for those organizing the event and the catering staff. - Post-Event Festivities: There will be a party at the new Lodge starting at approximately 7pm. Beer will be provided, but there will not be any food. Please make your own plans for dinner.
Please RSVP soon so that we can plan accordingly. Tickets are $75 for adults (no charge for children). If you’ve already RSVP’d, you’ll receive more details as we get closer to April 22.
