Welcome to the official homepage of Phi Kappa Psi at The University of Virginia. Since 1853, the brothers of Virginia Alpha have been dedicated to upholding the social, charitable and honorable goals of our founders. Virginia Alpha has initiated over 1400 brothers, including former President of the United States Woodrow Wilson. Through a myriad of avenues today’s brothers continue the Phi Psi tradition of serving others while striving to stand out on grounds both socially and academically.
Montalto House Corporation Profile
The Montalto Corporation was founded in 1914 to provide a house for the Virginia Alpha Chapter of Phi Kappa Psi and subsequently serve as the chapter’s house corporation.
Restructured in 2005, the Montalto Corporation now consists of nine active Trustees and has turned its attention toward the future with a focus on building renovations and work with the chapter to ensure the fraternity will remain as strong as the structure in which it resides.
What We Are Doing:
- Produces The Missing Link and maintains www.phipsiuva.com through a partnership with the UVA Alumni Association.
- Runs annual giving to support publications, renovations, and scholarships
