Join us for a reunion party on the weekend of August 23-25, 2024, in the DC Area! Please review the itinerary of events and indicate which events you plan to attend in the form below. This won’t commit you to attend, but it will help us with planning.
- Friday, August 23, 12 p.m.: Great Falls Virginia — Join the reunion planning committee for a 4.6-mile hike along Mather Gorge to Difficult Run. Many shorter strolls and scenic views are available for those who don’t want to hike. Gathering starts at noon, with the hike beginning at 1 p.m. Picnic tables are available for those who want to bring lunch and eat before the hike. Following the hike, we’ll adjourn to the Old Brogue Irish Pub for happy hour.
- Friday, August 23, 6 p.m.: Dinner at the Old Brogue for those who want to stay after happy hour.
- Saturday, August 24, 10 a.m.: Tour of Historic Blenheim (Fairfax City). Gather at Jim Gillespie’s house (3604 Colony Road, Fairfax, Va. 22030) at 9:40 a.m. for a 10 a.m. tour of Historic Blenheim, a home that served as a military hospital in the Civil War and features on its walls the signatures and graffiti of over 120 Union soldiers. Jim’s wife Andrea Loewenwarter works at Blenheim and will guide the tour. Brunch will be served after the tour at Jim and Andrea’s house three blocks away.
- Saturday, August 24, 4 p.m.: Party at Rodney Follin and Peggy Tucker’s home (8714 Rustic Oak Ct – Google Maps). Gather at 4:00 p.m. for hors d’oeuvres, beverages, food, memories, renewed brotherhood, and good times. Barbeque dinner will be served from 6-9 p.m. Reunification will continue for the duration of the evening.
- Sunday, August 25: There may be a farewell event on Sunday, August 25 if there is enough interest.
The cost per person for the Saturday party is $75 per person. Those planning to attend this premier event should send $75.00 to the Venmo account @Rodney-Follin-16, or send a check in the appropriate amount to:
