Psi Chapter’s Fall 2024 Pledge Class – Ethan Coon ’27, Tino Martella ’26, Halsey Robinson ’26, Donghwa Shin ’27, & Liam Timmons ’25

Psi chapter opened the fall 2024 semester with 24 returning members and immediately began executing their recruitment plans for the year.

Recruitment is the lifeblood of any Greek organization and is held in both the fall and spring semesters. Fall rush is restricted to upperclassmen, and the subsequent spring rush focuses on first year men. The chapter had a very successful fall rush, recruiting and initiating five new brothers. The chapter has also completed key tasks to prepare for spring rush, including developing a robust recruitment plan, networking informally with potential recruits, and reviewing rush skills and performance expectations for all brothers.

Please welcome the newest members of Psi Chapter:

  • Ethan Coon – Computer Science, 2027
  • Tino Martella – Computer Science, 2026
  • Halsey Robinson – Electrical Engineering, 2026
  • Donghwa Shin – Computer Science, 2027
  • Liam Timmons – Electrical Engineering, 2025

The brotherhood is very strong academically, ranking second in the Inter-Fraternity Council (IFC) for GPA. But that does not mean they have lost sight of a good party. Major fall parties included a Christmas formal, a Halloween Party, and ‘white lies’ party. Other brotherhood activities include top golf, game nights, and a pong championship tournament.

Brothers are also engaged in charitable work with Habitat for Humanity, coding competitions, a competitive gaming club, and a revived an amateur radio club.
