With the beginning of the new school year, the brotherhood is shifting focus from repairing the house to recruiting new brothers for our chapter. The Alumni Advisory Group is planning a rush workshop with the actives in September to help them kick off a successful recruitment effort. This workshop will focus on a year-round rush strategy based on the Dru Bagwell five-step recruitment plan:
- Meet People
- Make Them Your Friend
- Introduce Them to Your Friends
- Introduce Them to Fraternity
- Give Them a Bid
We believe that a year-round rush strategy is a great fit for the current brothers, and that the brothers are a great fit for the five-step plan. During and after the workshop, we will help the active brothers develop and implement a detailed rush plan to grow our membership substantially this year.
