My name is Andrew Dovan (Engr ’27), and I’m honored to serve as the Academic Chair for our beloved Beta Chapter. I am a second-year Computer Science and Economics double major from Nashville, TN. I’ve seen firsthand how deeply the values of Sigma Nu positively impact our dedication to academic success and the community of scholars this fraternity has become. My mission in this role is to foster an environment where our brothers can excel in their studies, prepare for life beyond college, and leverage the vast professional network of Sigma Nu alumni. By organizing academic workshops and promoting an atmosphere of constant support, I aim to ensure that every brother can achieve his full potential.
I firmly believe that the guidance, insight, and encouragement of alumni like you are key to maintaining our tradition of excellence. Looking ahead, I plan to coordinate speaker sessions featuring accomplished alumni from various fields, expand our academic resources, and work with the alumni chair to grow the mentorship program that bridges the gap between current brothers and our distinguished graduates. Thank you for your ongoing commitment to Sigma Nu. You are an integral part of our chapter’s success, and I’m excited to build a stronger academic foundation with your help in the semesters ahead.
Fraternally,
Andrew Dovan (Engr ’27)
