The Alumni Advisory Board interacts monthly with the chapter’s officers by phone and email, conduct training sessions on financial and management, ethical leadership, community outreach, and philanthropy. AAB members include myself (James Bogart), Matt Middleton ’96, acting as Chapter Advisor, Roger Whiteway ’69, Paul Speidel ’96, Don Alan Mitchell ’98, Craig Steinwedel ’72, Rich Cifaldi ’97, and Tim Coleman ’68. Five devoted Sigma Nu alumni with experience on Sigma Nu National staff, Tom Keller, Jason Guston, David Glassman, Alex Retzloff (a current UVA law student) and Josh Green, along with the chapter’s faculty advisor, John Chaney, Assistant Dean of Students, add invaluable experience. Beta is well on its way to obtaining Rock Chapter status, placing it among the top Sigma Nu chapters.
