Actives waiting for Pledges at No Name Field on Bid Day

[nivoslider id=”152″ align=”right”]I knew I wanted to be a Rush Chair the second I walked into Theta for Round Robins my first year. Having had two Delta Chi sisters, Carling and Sean, and one of them a former Rush Chair herself, I could just see myself standing on the infamous Theta stairs saying “Think Theta” at the end of each and every round of Recruitment. My closet took a toll last semester with all of the black and gold apparel and accessories that I convinced myself I needed for Rush. From decorations to rehearsing themes skits to the final preference round- the absolute best feeling was watching the fourty-four new Thetas run towards us on Bid Day! The experience was particularly special because I got to lead and spend it all with my big, Mary Shaffer Willets. The late nights, early mornings and infinite amount of glitter everywhere was completely worth it!
