January 31, 2014 – Xi Chapter welcomes 19 new members into our fraternity.

November 19, 2013 – Congratulations to the members of our intramural soccer team on their fraternity division championship and undefeated season!

November 14, 2013 – The Xi chapter hosted its annual QX-Mas Battle of the Bands. We raised over $3,500 for Comfort Zone Camp this year. Congratulations to Louis Smith Band, the winner of this year’s event.

October 27, 2013 – The Xi Chapter was excited to welcome back over 190 alumni for the Centennial Homecoming Celebration. The weekend consisted of several activities including a golf tournament, formal dinner, tailgate and party. The event was a great success and we thank everyone for attending and their continued support.

May 13th, 2013 – Congratulations to Jake Kenneally (’14) for being awarded the Sherwood Blue Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $1000 for the 2013-2014 academic year. The Sherwood Blue Memorial Scholarship is awarded by the The Foundation Chapter of Theta Chi Fraternity to students who demonstrate scholastic aptitude and financial need. April 23rd, 2013 – The Xi Chapter of Theta Chi was recognized for all of its hard work over the past year by being awarded Most Improved Chapter and Most Outstanding Chapter by the UVA Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life. Similarly, outgoing president Miles Kirwin (’13) was named Greek Man of the Year. These awards are a testament to all of the hard work the Xi brotherhood put into our capital campaign and improving our operations both internally and in the Charlottesville community. It is a proud moment to see Theta Chi receive the top awards for both an individual and a chapter. Congratulations to Miles and the rest of the brotherhood on these well-deserved awards! April 14th, 2013 – Congratulations to Mark Rossi (’15) and the rest of the UVA Club Lacrosse Team on being ranked #1 in the country!

April 13th, 2013 – Xi Chapter held its First Annual Date Auction with Sigma Kappa Sorority benefitting the Prostate Cancer Foundation at the Theta Chi House. We auctioned off a number of items such as spa treatments at Boar’s Head Inn and gift certificates to a number of different local restaurants. Thanks to the generous donations of both sponsors and auction attendees, we raised $4,044.95 for our cause. It was a wonderful event that we will continue for many years to come. This year, Xi Chapter raised $10,000 for philanthropic efforts. Thanks to Charlie McCarthy, Victor Taylor and the ladies of Sigma Kappa for planning such a great event!

April 7th, 2013 – Xi Chapter is proud to welcome 17 new brothers into our fraternity. Theta Chi has a bright future ahead.
