The UVA Division for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion will host the Saturday Night Soiree, a night of music and dancing at the Jefferson Theater, during Black Alumni Weekend.
This event is FREE and open to all* in the community. Tickets are available online.
Come out for an exciting evening featuring live music from Secret Society, D.C.’s #1 party band, and mixes from DJ Spark, “L.A’s most treasured female turntablist.”
Doors open at 7 p.m., and a reception with light fare from local Black-owned caterers like Pearl Island and Vegan Comforts Soul Food will be available from 7-8 p.m.
*This event is 18+. IDs will be checked for all attendees upon entry and wristbands will be issued to designate patrons over 21. Patrons under 21 will not be able to purchase alcohol.
