In March 2020 the covid-19 virus sent UVA courses online. During the 2020-21 academic year most University courses remained online, while some experimented with various in-person scenarios. In the fall of 2021 most courses will return to in-person instruction, with students and faculty wearing masks for at least the first two weeks of classes.

What has changed for students and for teachers? What, if anything, hasn’t? What developments, discoveries, or strategies may persist after return to in-person instruction?  What have we lost? What have we gained?

This conversation will give retired faculty a chance to hear and question some who have been teaching and learning at UVA during the last year and a half.

Please join us for this virtual panel on September 13, 2021 from 4:00-5:00pm as current students and English Professor, Steve Cushman discuss the topic of “Teaching and Learning During Covid”.
