On Saturday, March 17, 2018 VRA will host Bucknell University and USNA Lightweights for a scrimmage on the Rivanna. All are welcome to join us for the fun; schedule below.
0830 – Boathouse/property open
0915 – Coxswains/staff meeting
0930 – Launching/water warm-up
1000 – Start 1st piece
1130 – Docking, de-rigging
1200 – Lunch/sandwiches served to all teams/staff by UVA parents
1230 – “Dismissal”
The Thomas Temple Allan Boathouse at Magruder Dent, Jr. Rowing Center is located at 276 Woodlands Road, Charlottesville, VA 22901.
The best spot for viewing the pieces is at “the Church” across the reservoir at 2001 Earlysville Road, Earlysville, VA 22936.
