Recruitment for the spring 2024 semester was highly successful, spearheaded by 3rd-year rush chairs Cole Downs, Joe Leonard, and Malcolm Brickhouse, along with support from 2nd-year junior rush chairs, Wilson Simmons, and Robert Avant. Our initial round comprised intimate gatherings within the house, followed by progressively impressive events such as a brewery visit, a night at Trinity on the Corner, and a trip to Washington, D.C. to catch a Wizards game and connect with recent alumni. The trip to the Wizards game was the highlight of rush as it was an excellent opportunity to meet potential new members, and demonstrate the longevity of the brotherhood as new members were able to meet Chi Phi alumni living in the metro area.
Despite a slight decrease in overall participation across the University, our chapter extended bids to 16 outstanding individuals whom we eagerly anticipate welcoming as esteemed brothers of the Alpha Chapter. Their addition marks a successful recruitment period and sets a positive tone for the future.
