Parents Formal 2017 was yet again a huge success thanks in large part to our Parents Formal coordinator Cole Oldenburg. Many of the fourth year parents came in on Friday to enjoy the beautiful weather and vineyards with their sons. The next day, everyone gathered at the house to partake in a cocktail hour. For the parents of new brothers, this was their first time seeing the house in which many of their sons will live. This year, the event was held at Morven Farms, a UVa held property that has a rich history dating back to the 1700s when it was home to Monocan tribes before eventually being bought by Thomas Jefferson in 1795. The scenery coupled with great weather made for a wonderful event; however, this event would not be complete without a great band who is able to bring everyone out on the dance floor. Suit & Tie was able to do just that as they performed songs of every genre and multiple generations. As always, Parents Formal turned out to be an unforgettable night.
