Fall of 2023 marked the 150th anniversary of the founding of the Virginia Beta Chapter of Phi Society/Phi Delta Theta (pre-2000) at the University of Virginia. It also marked the 60th anniversary of the purchase of 1 University Circle. To mark the occasion, over 300 Phis (and 200 + spouses) gathered on Mr. Jefferson’s Grounds to celebrate the occasion and revel in our brotherhood.
To say the weekend was a success would be an understatement. It is hard to say what was best: the welcome dinner at the house on Friday? Or maybe the many tailgates prior to the Homecoming game at Scott Stadium? Or possibly the formal at the Charlottesville Omni on Saturday evening? To decide for yourself, click on the link below to view the photos; as they say “a picture is worth a thousand words”.
If you were unable to attend, we suggest you plan to attend the 155th. We assure you that you will not regret it.
We hope you enjoy this year’s Phiner Times to read more about this memorable weekend.
