On March 2, 2025, we initiated 20 new brothers. This class is one of our largest in many years and was a result of an expanded and spirited rush effort. These results are a credit to the entire house, but we are especially appreciative of the significant role that House President, Sam Moran (Engr ’26); Rush Chairman, Joe Harrell (Col ’25); and Social Chairman, Ian Donnellan (Col ‘26) played in achieving this successful outcome. As many of you know, Sam is the son of Phi, Pat Moran (Engr ’95), and has been elected to serve his second term as President next year!
The University recently condensed rush to two weeks and it took a Herculean effort to meet and get to know many perspective brothers in such a short period of time. But the active brothers put it into high gear and got the job done. Not only is it a large pledge class, but they are a terrific bunch of scholars and athletes who take their commitment to Phi Society seriously. And just as important – they know how to have a good time!
