This semester saw a tremendous amount of philanthropic endeavors, both through finances and volunteering. We have continued our trend of Brotherhood donations, both to funds to end Alzheimer’s, Relay for Life and for the American Cancer Association. A surprisingly large amount of Brothers hauled themselves out of bed on a dreary Saturday morning at 8:30 AM to do the Walk to end Alzheimer’s, a two-mile walk in which Brothers raised sponsorship money to donate. Additionally, approximately 25 Brothers traveled to the Habitat for Humanity warehouse in Charlottesville to lend a helping hand for a few hours with various tasks. We are very proud of our Brotherhood’s commitment to philanthropy this semester, and we are excited to continue this trend in the future.
