Fall Weekend: Plan Your Schedule

Greetings, SAM alumni!

We look forward to welcoming you back to Grounds October 3-6, 2024, for our annual Fall Weekend! We will have several activities planned throughout the weekend β€” see the schedule overview below to start making your plans:

Friday, October 4

  • Time TBD – Join SAM alumni for a round of golf! If you’re interested in playing, please contact Chuck Shorley ’75 to reserve your spot.
  • 4 p.m. – Annual BPHC Directors Meeting, SAM House, 129 Chancellor Street
    • Interested alumni are encouraged to attend.
  • 5 p.m. – Alumni Meet-and-Greet with Chapter, SAM House, 129 Chancellor Street
    • This is a brothers-only event to encourage mentoring and professional networking opportunities between the alumni and undergraduates.
  • 6-10 p.m. – Dinner at Tavern and Grocery’s downstairs bar – a portion of the downstairs dining area has been reserved for SAM alumni with the remainder of the restaurant open to the public. Food is available to order.

Saturday, October 5

  • 10-11 a.m.More Than the Score presents: Disruption or Evolution? The Future of EVs and the US Auto Industry, Alumni Hall, Ballroom
  • Time TBD – UVA vs. Boston College Football Game, Scott Stadium
    • A 50-person block of tickets has been reserved in Section 111. Tickets are $46 per person and are available for purchase through October 4, 2024. Get yours today!

Before You Arrive:

  • πŸ›οΈ Book Your Accommodations: There are a handful of rooms remaining in the SAM alumni hotel block at the Hampton Inn & Suites on 900 W. Main Street – book yours today!
    • Reservations can be made by calling the hotel directly at (434) 923-8600 or their central reservations line at (800) 426-7866.
    • If booking online, select β€œedit stay” to modify your arrival and departure dates as needed.
