Spring 2012 President’s Letter

Daly Brower | Beta-Pi President

The spring 2012 semester was a very exciting one for the brothers of the Beta-Pi chapter. We started off the semester being able to build on our momentum from the fall semester with a very successful brotherhood workday to build new stages and improve the house.

In the fall Beta-Pi once again hosted Kyle Koelbel, our Educational Leadership Consultant for a very productive visit. We have been able to implement many of his recommendations and we feel confident about our chances of earning another Grand Sage Award at the upcoming Convocation in San Antonio. In addition, we had the pleasure of hosting a reception at the house for several past members of the Grand Council in addition to Beta-Pi’s own past Grand Sage Gary Tash.

This spring, brothers of Beta-Pi have been engaged in many exciting events both in the University and the wider community. I personally had the pleasure of traveling to Duke University several weeks ago to see the initiation ceremony and chartering of the Iota-Xi chapter and meet other student leaders from local chapters of Sigma Pi as well as several members of the Grand Council. We look to build on these relationships in the future. In addition, we recently hosted our fifth annual Surf n’ Turf cookout benefitting Nursing Students Without Borders which was once again a great success.

Unfortunately I do not have enough room here to describe all of our upcoming end-of-year events. Every day brothers of Beta-Pi work hard to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and we are looking forward to more progress in the future. Many thanks to all of our alumni for the support you offer us and as always we look forward to seeing and hearing from you in the future.

  1. Thanks for the suggestions you have shared here. Also, I believe there are numerous factors which will keep your car insurance policy premium straight down. One is, to bear in mind buying motors that are inside good list of car insurance companies. Cars which might be expensive tend to be more at risk of being robbed. Aside from that insurance is also in accordance with the value of the car, so the higher in price it is, then higher your premium you pay.

  2. Thanks for your submission. I would also love to comment that the first thing you will need to perform is verify if you really need credit repair. To do that you simply must get your hands on a duplicate of your credit rating. That should never be difficult, because the government mandates that you are allowed to be issued one cost-free copy of your actual credit report per year. You just have to consult the right persons. You can either look into the website for that Federal Trade Commission or perhaps contact one of the main credit agencies straight.
