Senior Service

On April 21, 2015, the graduating fourth years gathered at the Kappa Alpha Theta House for the Senior Service. The service was to honor their commitment to Delta Chi through readings and ritual. Younger members of the chapter read different “I am Theta” quotes describing what it means to be a Theta; it’s about the good times and the bad times, the friendship and the guidance; it’s about finding a group of women that make all of us better people. As the fourth years graduate, they will always be Thetas and will always have a home in Charlottesville. Heather Neier, our Advisory Board Co-Chair, also spoke to the fourth years from the prospective of an alumna. She told them about her experience and what Theta can still do for them after they graduate. We finished the service with a reception and then the entire chapter went to Coupe’s for our last sisterhood dinner of the year.

Congratulations to the Class of 2015! We are so proud of you and will miss you. As you move on with the rest of your lives, remember the bonds that we all share because Theta will always be here for you. Next year won’t be the same without you! TFL
