Kimberly Slentz-Kesler (formerly Kimberly Slentz-Whalen, CLAS 1990)
After a great start in choral singing with UVA Women’s Chorus, I have continued singing every year since graduating from UVA in 1990, most recently with a fantastic vocal jazz octet called Avante, based in the Raleigh-Durham area. We have done several concerts across NC, and later on in February we will be heading to Alexandria, VA to participate in the Harmony Sweepstakes vocal competition.
