Our semester has been busy so far with gigs, concerts, and unforeseen weather events! In our downtime, we get together for sisterhood and bonding events to help the chorus grow stronger and more cohesive as a group. We had five new girls join the chorus this semester, and we introduced them to the other members during New Girl Week. We ate Bodo’s bagels in Old Cabell, had a chorus dinner in the Pav (the on grounds food court), and ended the week with a potluck for New Girl Night- the night on which we pass down all of the traditions of the chorus to our lovely new members. On Superbowl Sunday, VWC ladies gathered with the Glee Club, our brothers in song, to relax and watch the big game. Later this semester, we have plans to go ice skating, hiking and rock climbing. When we’re not being active and sporty, we’ll host movie and board game nights. At the end of the semester, members of the chorus are traveling to Beach Week together for some fun in the sun!
