In response to the shortened two-week formal rush calendar, we enhanced our effort to get to know potential new brothers in the fall and added a great road trip to Washington with the support of the Alumni Board. We will continue to expand and refine our approach so we can increase the size of upcoming classes. Please be proactive in informing us if your son or any other potential candidates are headed to UVA in the fall of 2024.
We are very excited about the incoming class of thirteen pledges, which is a little less than we had hoped, but still in the range of most fraternities. Most importantly, they are a terrific group of young men committed to fostering our brotherhood while excelling in the classroom and in their extracurricular activities. And we are thrilled to add another legacy to our house: Connor Oakes, son of Michael Oakes, ’96. They will be “a sturdy crew of Phis”.
