Emilia Pérez stars Selena Gomez, Karla Sofía Gascón (the first openly trans actor to win a major award at Cannes), Adriana Paz, and Zoe Saldaña.

For anyone who has not previously attended the Virginia Film Festival (VAFF), it is a program of UVA and is widely recognized as one of the leading regional film festivals in America. The annual five-day festival shows more than 100 films from around the world, UVA students are able to attend for free, and VAFF has increasingly been leaning into helping showcase and amplify queer stories.
