Join the University of Virginia’s Queer Alumni Network (QVA) as we celebrate our annual Fall Weekend in Charlottesville from Friday, September 20 – Sunday, September 22, 2024, for the major milestone of our 25th anniversary!
Your ticket includes access to Friday’s welcome happy hour and Virginia wine history session, Saturday’s Gala at the newly renovated Omni hotel on the Downtown Mall, and Sunday’s Bernard Mayes Award Luncheon! Registration is all-inclusive, but early bird tickets are limited – be sure to secure your ticket soon!
If you are a student who is interested in attending, please reach out to operations@queervirginia.org. We are proactively reaching out to LGBTQ+ student leaders and QVA Scholarship winners to coordinate complementary invitations to Fall Weekend.

Friday, September 20
- Welcome reception: ~6-7pm, UVA LGBTQ Center, Newcomb Hall
- Wine tasting + history of Virginia Wine with Erin Scala:~7-9pm, The Rotunda
Saturday, September 21
- Curated set of optional Charlottesville activities during the day to be announced
- Awards Gala Cocktails and Dinner: 5:30-9pm, Omni Hotel, Downtown Mall
Sunday, September 22
- Mayes Award Winner brunch and farewell: 11:30am – 1:00pm, Downtown Mall
