We are excited to welcome you back to Grounds October 28-30, 2022, for Sigma Alpha Mu’s Annual Alumni Weekend! Below is a list of activities we have planned for the weekend:
Friday, October 28
- Afternoon Golf
- Evening Reception
- 6:00-10:00pm at the Staff Hill Taproom
- Nighttime Reception
- After 10:00pm – Join us for a post-reception gathering at the Hampton Inn Lobby and Jay Schlepperman Conference Room. Alumni are also welcome to gather at The Ridley Restaurant as they are open until midnight.
Saturday, October 29
- More Than the Score – Faculty Lecture Series
- Catered BBQ Party at the SAM House
- Please note – This party will be either pre-game OR post-game depending on the UVA-Miami kickoff time. Once the kickoff time for the UVA-Miami game has been announced, we will notify you whether we will be having the event pre-game or post-game.
- Virginia vs Miami Football Game
- We’ve secured a ticket block for the game; get your tickets and join us in section 111
Sunday, October 30
- Beta Psi Housing Corporation (BSHC) Meeting
- 11:08am at the Jay Schlepperman Conference Room in the Hampton Inn (900 West Main St)
While our hotel block for the weekend has filled, there are still plenty of places to stay in and around Charlottesville. If you had previously reserved a room in our hotel block* and are no longer able to attend, please email guscallaway@gmail.com so that someone else might be able to use that space. Reservation names can be changed and we would like to avoid losing rooms from the block if possible.
*Reservations can be canceled up to 72 hours prior to arrival with no penalty.
