Felix Nguyen-Dalton is proud to call Charlottesville her hometown, having lived there for 21 years in addition to graduating from UVA. During her time at the University, she worked as the Programs and Volunteer Coordinator at the LGBTQ Center as both an intern and the interim manager. Additionally, she served with Student Council, Sigma Omicron Rho, First Year Players, and the LGBTQ Speakers Bureau, among others.

Shortly after a post-graduation move to Roanoke, Virginia, she joined the board of the Roanoke Diversity Center, with which she founded the region’s first organized Speakers Bureau, led discussions for Hollins University, Roanoke College, and southwest Virginia’s only Diversity Camp, and planned the inaugural Winter Fête, now the RDC’s largest annual fundraising event.

Felix presently still resides in Roanoke with her wife and veritable zoo of seven pets. She works in marketing and communications and nurtures passions surrounding LGBTQ+ youth, intersectionality of LGBTQ+ and multicultural conversations, and mental health support.
