For the first time since 2008, Virginia Rowing has been invited to the George Washington Invitational on the Potomac River in scenic Georgetown. Save the date to come to the waterfront on Saturday, April 13 to watch the racing as Virginia goes head to head with some of the Eastern Sprints’ best.
All boats will race once in the morning and once in the afternoon in match-race format, times and competitors TBA.
Mingle with the team, watch some great racing, and enjoy the beautiful Georgetown waterfront. Food will be provided for athletes and alumni alike at the food tent, located near the finish line at Thompson’s Boat Center.
