Happy Spring!
As Claire, our President, mentioned the Chorus has gotten off to a roaring start despite Mother Nature’s interruptions. We have sung on five occasions with only nine rehearsals! Our spring concert is quickly approaching and we hope to see you there! Please read Claire’s letter for more details about this semester.
Without you and your amazing support we would not be able to continue providing an excellent musical experience and a treasured community for our members. Thank you for your generosity! We have included a list of our donors that is current through December 1, 2015. Please look over it and let us know if we need to make any corrections. We will update our website in April to include donations from December and this first quarter of 2016. If you would like to make a tax-deductible donation to the Chorus, you can donate online here.
The Chorus received accolades from two composers – Ola Gjeilo and Guy Forbes – for our performances in December. We have also become known in the UVa sports communities for our excellent performances of the National Anthem! As always, the ladies work very hard and take great pride in their music, and we hope to make you proud to be associated with such a superb ensemble.
