New Member Report 2017

The Omicron chapter is proud to welcome its Mu spring pledge class who were initiated into the rolls in April.  The chapter issued 24 bids this year with 23 acceptances, one of our largest pledge classes in recent memory. This included an Omicron legacy Henry Akers ‘18, son of Tim Akers ’82.  Of the 22 men who were initiated into the Brotherhood, 9 were from states other than Virginia, including California, Maryland, and New York. Academically many of the new members have received official recognition from the University for their strong accomplishments.
