April 2022
The Bolívar Network was founded in 1997, exactly 25 years ago. To celebrate this milestone anniversary, we are excited to share that within the next few weeks we will be launching a new logo to reflect our commitment to the BN’s mission! Throughout this year and into the future, the Bolívar Network will continue to create connections and community. If you are interested in participating in the planning, celebration, and feature of the Bolívar Network’s 25th anniversary, please email TheBolivarNetwork@gmail.com.
This year, as it is safe to do so, we will be co-hosting more in-person events on and off Grounds. First, BN will be present at the first in-person Spring Blast since 2019 on April 8. If you are interested in supporting Hispanic/Latinx enrollment at UVA, check out how you can volunteer through VAAN. Additionally, Hispanic/Latinx alumni will be gathering in New York City on April 27. If you are in New York, New Jersey, or Connecticut and are interested in attending, please email Claudia Quintero and Cinthia Fernholz.
