There is strong, and then there is Kappa strong.
So, while in the face of a global pandemic, we have chosen not to bend to uncertainty, but to forge ahead thoughtfully and safely because now—more than ever—we must honor our promise to give our current and future sisters a home at UVA.
Epsilon Sigma has stepped up to navigate these strange times. When UVA committed to an on-Grounds academic program, the chapter developed a detailed COVID-19 plan to create a healthy living environment and an effective system for communicating, isolating and quarantining when necessary. These processes are all in place at our temporary chapter house—the former SPE house, where 30 members are currently living—while our home at 503 Rugby is under construction.
We are excited to be working with an energetic team of contractors that are willing to complete a 14-month project in a 12-month timeframe, and we need you to be a part of it! In order to stick to our construction schedule, fulfill loan commitments, and provide a chapter home filled with furniture on time for the 2021 academic year, we must raise $850,000 by December 2021.
