Monticello Private Tour:
Monticello has generously offered to provide us with private tours of the House, including upstairs, with an emphasis on the Hemings family at Monticello. This is a tour many of you may not have heard. They have asked that we arrive at 1:30 p.m. and follow the signs for Serpentine Society parking. We will tour at 2:10 p.m. and the tasting (below) will begin at 4:00 p.m. for those who would like to join.
Gabriele Rausse tasting at Monticello:
We are delighted to have Gabriele joining us to talk about some Virginia wines. Monticello requires picture ID for any person to drink wine at Monticello. If you are not 21, non-alcoholic beverages will be available. We will also have a nice spread of snacks from Feast!
Be safe and smart this weekend. For your convenience and safety, please consider calling a taxi or Uber to get home safely if you elect to enjoy wine.
Safe travels, and we’ll see you soon!
