This year we had a very successful alumni tailgate hosted by Randy Shapiro for the VMI football game on September 21st. After the game we had a great BBQ dinner at the house, where the alumni were able to come meet more of the brotherhood and get a better feel for the house on Chancellor Street. Walking around, talking with the alumni and hearing their many great stories, I could feel the spirit of the Sigma Alpha Mu Beta Psi Chapter and look forward to continuing its legacy. As Alumni Recorder I want to keep you informed of the events taking place here at UVA and encourage as many as possible to come visit.
One of our biggest events is just around the corner, with the Foxfield Spring Races on Saturday, April 26th. All alumni are welcome to join us Friday night at the Chancellor Street house to hang out with the brotherhood and meet some of the new candidates. The young alumni plot will be in the Orange Section at I 21/22, and we encourage anyone that can to come visit our plot in the Orange Section at A 49/50. I hope to meet more alumni at the upcoming Foxfield races and in future alumni events.
