Dear Alumnae,
My name is Pooja Seth and I have the honor of serving as the new Alumnae Relations Chair for the Virginia Women’s Chorus. It is that time of year again for the Spring Newsletter. You will find information about the Chorus’ plans for the year, triumphs from last semester, and the information you have all been waiting for about the 40th Anniversary Concert this April! In honor of our alumnae coming together to sing after 40 years of existence, we wanted to share with you all some excerpts from a beautiful letter the Chorus received last semester from alumnae of the chorus in light of recent events that occurred at the University. The letter reminded us of how our music touches the lives of students of the University and the Charlottesville community as a whole and to cherish the sisterhood that grows out of that experience.
